This scholarship settles all you need, including flights, accommodation, and course fees. Therefore, if granted, you are to live in the UK for a whole year, during which you will experience the UK culture and build professional networks throughout your stay. 

However, The Chevening scholarship requires grit and resilience because the application process is challenging. It is usually open from August to Nov each year. Chevening scholarships receive over 60,000 applications yearly but only select 1500 applicants. It is best to carry out a lot of research before beginning your application. 

2. Singapore International Graduate Award (SINGA) 

This award is for individuals who are applying for a Ph.D. It is a fully funded program that covers up to 4 years of Ph.D. studies, and it covers; Tuition fees, a monthly stipend of S$ 2,200, which increases to S$ 2,700 after passing the Qualifying Examination, A One-time airfare grant of up to S$ 1,500, and a one-time settling-in allowance of S$ 1,000.

However, the good news about this award is that it’s open to all nationalities and only to those in the Biomedical Sciences, Physical Sciences, and Engineering. Singapore International Graduate Award takes applications twice a year. They accept applications in June for the following year’s January intake and another application in December for the July intake. 

3. DAAD Scholarship in International Development Economics 

The DAAD scholarship is specifically for master’s programs in international and development economics. This scholarship is open to applicants from developing or newly industrialized countries. Applicants are selected ted by the German academic exchange service (DAAD) in collaboration with HTW Berlin. Daad supports training developing countries’ human resources by providing a chance for these countries’ citizens to study in Germany.

The institution where these applicants will attend, HTW Berlin, is a public university of applied sciences located in Berlin, the Capital of Germany. 

The program will provide successful applicants with Living expenses (17 months): €850.00/month, a Study and research subsidy. A subsidy for travel expenses to Germany and back home after completing the program Health insurance, Preparatory German Language Course (February/ March).

However, as impressive as the scholarship benefits are, the DAAD program has strict eligibility criteria, and it is essential to adhere to them while applying. For the summer semester starting in March/April Daad Scholarship application period runs from early December to 15 January.

4. Stanford University Scholarships (Fully Funded)

This is a fully funded scholarship for Masters’s and Ph.D. studies. These scholarships cover full tuition fees, traveling allowance, Living allowance, and academic expenses. 

Stanford University ranks as one of the Best Universities in the world, and the application can be quite tasking but requires patience and perseverance. The scholarship application to Stanford ends in October. However, the application deadlines vary for specific countries. 

5. MEXT Scholarship 2022

The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology (MEXT)  Scholarship is a fully funded scholarship for international students. This scholarship is available for undergraduate, master’s, Ph.D., and training studies.  MEXT scholarship will cover tuition fees, accommodation, monthly living allowance, and round airfare travel expenses from your country to Japan. The Application cycle for the MEXT Japanese Government Scholarship is usually announced in April, though the scholarship deadline varies from embassy to embassy.

6. Fullbright Scholarship The USA

The US Fullbright scholarships are accepting applications and will continue until the 11th of October, 2023. The US Government fully funds this scholarship to build the connection between the citizens of the country and countries all over the world. These scholarships are for masters and Ph.D. studies.

The Fulbright Foreign Student Program covers full tuition fees, a living stipend, full accommodation fees, airfare, and health insurance. However, the deadline for the Fulbright scholarship varies by country but generally falls between February and October every year. 7. YALE University Scholarship in the USA

Yale University is a dream school for many people in the country and abroad. It is one of the most outstanding universities in the world. Yale University Scholarship is a fully funded scholarship for international students. This scholarship is for undergraduate, master’s, and Ph.D. Altough, it can vary from a few hundred dollars to over $70,000 annually. The average Yale need-based scholarship is over $50,000. Yale University scholarship covers 100% of the financial need demonstrated by the family.

Moreover, they consider your parent’s income, assets, and finances to determine your scholarship amount. Also, students whose parents earn less than 65,000$ a year are not required to pay anything, and Yale University scholarship covers tuition, room, and board.

8. Netherland Government Scholarship 

Netherlands Government Scholarships are fully funded scholarships for international students. These scholarships only offer for masters and short courses. The Orange Knowledge Programme under Netherlands Government Scholarship offers free cost of living, tuition fees, visa, roundtrip travel tickets, and health insurance. The Orange Knowledge Programme (OKP) offers scholarships funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs available for a selection of:

• short courses (duration 2 weeks to 12 months);
• master’s programs (duration 12 to 24 months).

9. The Gates Scholarship program to study in the USA

The Scholarship program is a highly selective scholarship for outstanding, minority high school seniors from low-income households. Each year, the scholarship awards up to 300 of these students with the intent of helping them realize their maximum potential. Moreover, these fully funded scholarships are available for undergraduate studies at a United States College or University.
