Thinking about my very first experience at the beach, I realized it is important to check out the private and public beaches in Lagos before deciding which to visit. Well, I know you are eager to know what that experience was, right?

Hmmm, I visited the beach for the first time, and it was like I was in a superstore during the festive season!

You know what that means, right? It was crowded. I visited the beach to relax, watch nature and have fun! But there I was, queuing to go into the beach.

Besides the calming effect and other benefits that being by the beach provides. You can participate in various fun activities while at the beach, such as horseback riding, volleyball, and so on. Moreover, I love having self-made tasty meals whenever I visit the beach, so if you are like me, you want to be sure you can take in your jollof rice, peppered chicken,ย chinchin, puff-puff, and other meals you would love to enjoy with your friends and families. And this is because not all beaches allow you to bring food and snacks in.

Moreover, while looking out for beaches to visit, be aware that extreme exposure to sunlight can damage your skin, so you are sure to look for ways to build a great skincare routine.ย

Here is a list of some of the private and public beaches in Nigeria

The Perfect Staycation for You

You cannot exactly go wrong whether one or both the public and private beaches in Lagos. It really just depends on your preferences as an individual or a group. Beaches are cool for relaxation and for having a nice time with family, friends, and colleagues.

Beaches provide millions of people with numerous recreational opportunities and are also important to the economy. Beachgoers commonly go boating, fishing, swimming, walking, beachcombing, bird-watching, playing, and sunbathing. They protect residents near the ocean as a buffer against high winds and waves caused by powerful storms or rough seas.

One of the fastest-growing nature-based outdoor activities in the United States is spending time at the beach. If you would love to experience a beach day in other countries, you could look out for countries with lovely beaches, book a flight from Nigeria to your destination, and have some spectacular fun! ๐Ÿ˜
